Kim McCallum, the founder and sole employee of lot8, is dedicated to making functional, natural and sustainable products that reduce our reliance on single-use plastic. Her small business started with a linen bread bag after inheriting her late mother's sewing machine. In an effort to stay close to her, she learned how to make simple, functional pieces for her home - lot8 according to a 1910 survey map of her Junction neighbourhood in Toronto. Kim's products line have since expanded to various kitchen goods and she has moved to Stratford, Ontario. Kim's mission remains the same - to create natural, durable, functional products that encourage re-use while minimizing fabric waste!
A portion of all sales is donated to The United Way Perth Huron to help solve #unignorable issues.
